IEEE 1394 Firewire script
I wrote this script to load/unload the Linux kernel Firewire modules in the
correct order. If I change this order on my IBM Thinkad T23 (with a PCMCIA
Firewire card) the kernel panics. If you use kernel v2.6 the script only loads
and unloads the correct modules. If you use kernel v2.4 the script additionaly rescans
the SCSI bus to detect new attached (mass-storage) devices. If necessary, it
unmounts the device to protect the data.
